Brazilian operator Ava Telecom has started deploying Edge data centers in São Paulo, Brazil. The company provided little information about what it is doing. It didn’t reveal the number of sites it is building, or how much it is planning to invest in deploying the Edge data centers. However, Multiway will be in charge of providing the racks, while the photovoltaic panels would be supplied by Leveros Solar.

CEO of Ava Telecom, Paul Sassin, said it is essential to provide increasingly lower latencies to users because of the unending demand for big data, expansion of IoT and automation tools, and popularization of streaming platforms. He added that Ava has dedicated itself to building Edge data centers that will help the many users in the region.
