Atman announces offsetting efforts

Recently data center firm Atman outlined that from January 1st, its entire facility footprint’s energy use would be offset with renewable energy via guarantees of origin from energy firm RES.

The Polish firm outlined that this includes:
  • Equipment of colocation customers, 
  • Its farm of 3,000 dedicated servers, and 
  • Atman Cloud, Backup, and Object Storage platforms.

According to the company, supporting producers of renewable energy is a central focus of its sustainability policy and further to this, it is pursuing efforts to improve data center efficiency to reduce energy consumption. 

Atman has 5 sites in 3 regions.
