Applied Digital: Garden City TX: Applied Digital signs retail electric agreement with TerraForm Power

Applied Digital has recently signed a long-term retail electric agreement with TerraForm Power for its 200MW data center in Garden City, Texas. Following this agreement, Applied Digital will use wind power produced in Texas by TerraForm Power.

Applied Digital, previously known as Applied Blockchain, designs, develops, and operates data centers across North America targeted at high-performance computing workloads. It was previously a bitcoin mining company before shutting down its mining operations in 2022 which led to the name change.
