Amazon submits plans for second data center in County Meath, Ireland

According to Planning documents filed with Meath Local Authorities, Amazon is proposing to build a new data center at the IDA Business & Technology Park in Drogheda, County Meath. The new data center will be a two-story building, and it will have a floor area of 28,566 square meters. Tunis Properties LLC submitted the proposal on behalf of Amazon. Upon approval, construction of the new facility is likely to begin in 2023 and become fully operational in 2026.
