AI cloud company AI Green Bytes is building an immersion-cooled data center in Paris, France, which will utilize plant-based cooling fluid developed by Oleon. AI Green Bytes claims it can cut energy use by up to 90 percent by submerging its servers in Oleon’s coolant, known as Qloe, when compared to air-cooled systems.
“Oleon’s Qloe liquid positions us at the forefront of sustainable AI computing,” said Stig Torvund, CEO of AI Green Bytes. “This facility delivers unmatched efficiency while minimizing our ecological footprint.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with AI Green Bytes to bring Qloe technology to Paris,” said Maarten Trautmann, Oleon’s immersion cooling program lead. “This project showcases our plant-based cooling’s efficiency and supports AI-driven computing sustainably.”
