Gaw Capital Makes Significant Investment in South Korea's Dreammark One

Hong Kong’s real estate private equity company Gaw Capital Partners has made a considerable investment in Dreammark One. Gaw announced that it signed agreements with IMM Investment Corp to invest in the South Korean data center company through a fund under its management. The investment details were not revealed. In addition, a mutual strategic partnership will be formed to expand Dreamline Co. The Managing Director of Gaw Capital Partners, Kok Chye Ong, said the company is excited to have the opportunity to invest in the country as it is of strategic importance to its pan-Asia IDC platform. 

Ong also noted that there’s a geometric increase in the demand for data centers in the region, and the company is committed to making available sustainable data centers by implementing ESG initiatives. According to the company, it will also continue exploring favorable investment opportunities in South Korea. Dreamline Co. is Dreammark One’s parent company. IMM Investment Corp. also has a controlling stake in Dreamline Co.


There are 104 data centers in South Korea.
