QCell Ltd. is headquartered on Kairaba Avenue, Serrekunda, in the Banjul area of The Gambia, incorporated in August 2008 and commercially launched in July 2009 as the country's first 3G service provider, led by founder and CEO Muhammed Jah. It runs a nationwide 3G+ GSM network, doubles as the country's leading ISP via fixed wireless and 4G WiMax, and provides VPN and enterprise connectivity to government ministries, NGOs, and diplomatic missions. QCell holds a major private shareholding in the Gambia Consortium for the ACE submarine cable and has expanded regionally into Sierra Leone. In April 2026, it launched The Gambia's first data center, adding colocation, cloud, and disaster recovery services.
