Potentia Inc. Campus 04 is a planned mega-scale data center development in North Dakota designed exclusively to anchor heavy artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
Mirroring the developer's strict self-funded model, the massive project operates completely independent of state or local tax incentives, allowing Potentia to bypass lengthy public approval processes and maintain tight site confidentiality during its early development stages. Structurally, the campus is planned with zero-emission infrastructure that replaces traditional diesel backup generators entirely and integrates a closed-loop water recycling system to prevent strain on local regional water supplies.
To insulate the regional utility grid from the intense, volatile power spikes typical of large-scale GPU clusters, the site will implement a proprietary intelligent load management (iLM) architecture to dynamically balance power. Currently in the advanced planning stages, construction timelines place the target delivery for Campus 04's first building on track for Q2 2029.
