A new data center campus is slated for development in Finland’s MORE Industrial Park, following a joint venture agreement between Magnora ASA and the Northern Europe Energy Group (NEEG). Originally initiated by NEEG in 2025, the project is now 70% owned by Magnora, with NEEG retaining a 30% stake. The development encompasses 149,795 square meters (1.61 million sq ft) of secured land across three business plots in Hämeenlinna.
The project is led by a "Nordic ownership group" that includes prominent figures such as Tor Arne Pedersen, who is also connected to the Baltic General Power Company SIA (BGPC). The group’s primary objective is to create a high-density, AI-ready complex powered by renewable energy and featuring waste-heat recovery. To bring this vision to life, the partners are actively seeking an experienced third-party operator to manage the technical and operational aspects of the campus, which is expected to reach the "Ready-to-Build" stage by late 2026.
