Ownership: Kitebrook Infra owns the building.

Kitebrook Matre is a planned artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) landing site in Matredal, Norway, targeting live capacity by Q2 2027. Kitebrook Infra has acquired control of the land, securing a total plot size of 58,353 square meters (approximately 5.8 hectares / 14.4 acres) at Stien.

The planned development features a total building footprint of 11,587 square meters with 3,822 square meters of dedicated data center whitespace. Engineered for high-density GPU clusters, the facility utilizes a zero-emission, generator-free resilience architecture that bypasses traditional diesel backups and chillers. Instead, it pairs direct-access hydroelectric energy from an adjacent 350 MW regional substation with an innovative multi-fjord water-cooling system. The site offers deep-water quay logistics for heavy hardware transport and three diverse fiber routes to serve hyperscale deployments.
