Innova: Swansea North Campus

In 2025, the UK renewable energy firm Innova submitted proposals for a portfolio of ten data centre projects as part of NESO’s Gate 2 grid-connection queue process. The Swansea North project is proposed as a hybrid data centre co-located with a battery energy storage system (BESS). Expected grid connection dates across the portfolio were indicated as 2029–2032.
