Gibtelecom has teamed up with the charity Protect Earth for a forestation project. Already, it has planted over 600 native British trees at the Pantpurlais farm, Llandrindod Wells, Wales, including 12 species of native saplings, including 100 Silver Birch, 50 Common Alder, 25 Bird Cherry, and five Holly.

Pantpurlais’ Darren Hudson said: “It’s good to see a company support biodiversity projects to help reduce their carbon footprint and even better that they provided ‘boots on the ground’ to support the effort.”

The company, in addition to its Mount Pleasant facility, also operates 100 racks in Gilbratar’s World Trade Centre, and through subsidiary, Rockolo has 320 racks in two facilities in the British Overseas Territory.
