Dummerstorf Data Center

Lot Size: 79 acres

A substantial data center, designed to support artificial intelligence (AI) workloads, is planned for construction near an Amazon logistics hub on the outskirts of Rostock, Germany. The project represents an investment of at least €1 billion ($1.04 billion). While a specific end-user has not yet been publicly identified, a decision is anticipated within 2025.

The project's origins trace back to January 2024, when an investor acquired 70 hectares of land for €6.9 million ($7.21 million), earmarking it for data center development. Current reports indicate that 32 hectares of this land, situated close to the A20 road, will be utilized for the facility's construction.
