Megaride, a 50 million-euro supercomputer, was launched in Naples, Italy. This High-Performance Computing (HPC) system is the foundation of a national strategy—driven by the initiative of National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) and the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), with support from Cineca, CNR, and the ICSC National Center—to advance research, AI, and cyber defense. Named after Naples' historic islet, Megaride highlights the region's emerging status as a center for knowledge.
