An Israeli-backed consortium operating as Albania Data Center (ADC) is investing approximately €100 million ($118 million) to build a new data center within the TEDA Tirana free economic zone in Albania.

Located northwest of the capital, the initial 4.5-acre campus is designed for large-scale power capacity with the potential to expand up to threefold. Backed by Israel-affiliated Happy Technologies and DIT, the facility has already secured space for local tech firm Infosoft, a German storage company, and an undisclosed Albanian government client.

The Albania Data Center (ADC) is a €100 million, 32MW-to-100MW campus in Tirana’s TEDA Special Economic Zone, serving as the digital gateway to the Western Balkans. Backed by the EBRD, Happy Technologies, and DIT, the facility features an AI-ready architecture optimized for high-density Nvidia GPU workloads. To bypass European power constraints and meet carbon-neutral mandates, the campus runs entirely on local hydroelectric energy, utilizing regional fiber networks to deliver ultra-low latency connectivity across Central Europe and the Adriatic.
