Evocative Chappaqua JFK2: VPLS Acquires New York Data Center

VPLS, a cloud-to-edge computing and solutions provider, announces today its successful partnership with Summit Development to oversee data center operations at the data center facility located at 480 N. Bedford Plaza in Chappaqua, New York. The Chappaqua data center will be known as NY2 within VPLS’s global network of data center locations and points of presence.
In partnership with the ownership of the entire campus, Summit Development, and VPLS’s existing investors, Crestline Partners LLC, VPLS will now operate and manage the critical infrastructure at this Chappaqua data center. The new ownership property between Crestline Partners and Summit Development will be known as CL Summit Chappaqua HoldCo LLC.

Customers in the eastern US now have additional opportunities to diversify their network options and reduce latency with our data centers located in Virginia and now New York.”
Located in upstate New York, the Chappaqua data center is a highly resilient 38,000 sq. ft. colocation facility offering secured cabinets, and carrier-neutral connectivity.
