Nordic investment firm Areim this week announced it has completed an additional capital raise for its Nordic data center fund, Areim DC Fund, bringing the total raised capital to €900 million ($961m).


AI infrastructure company Nebius has announced plans to build a 300MW data center in New Jersey. Nebius said the new Icelandic deployment would be powered by geothermal energy to reduce environmental impact, adding that physical deployment and installation at the Keflavik site are currently underway


Prophet River FN, an independent Dene Tsaa Nation, has signed a deal with VC firm ABCT Pacific, which will see the pair work together to develop the data center near Fort St. John, a city in Northeast BC.


GE Vernova has signed a deal to provide power equipment to four Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers in North America, Europe, and Asia. GE Vernova will provide AWS with turnkey substation solutions to enable the connectivity of AWS data centers to the grid. 


Dallas-based Stream US is proposing to build a large data center at the Science, Technology & Advanced Manufacturing Park (STAMP) in Genesee County, New York. The proposed facility is a 900,000 sq ft (83,600 sqm) facility, with around 250MW of capacity, including a 600MW substation
