Telehouse Marseille THM1: Telehouse's Marseille DC to begin operation in November

Telehouse has confirmed that its first data center in Marseille will be in full operation by the beginning of November. Telehouse calls the new facility THM1, and it will give customers access to 160Tbps of capacity via subsea cables. The cables connect Marseille with Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. 

Sami Slim, deputy director of Telehouse France, said the company’s goal is to make Marseille one of the top five most connected cities globally. He added that Telehouse aims to strengthen the Paris/Marseille digital highway to put Europe at the center of global data exchanges through unequaled connectivity to Europe and the rest of the world.

Marseille is a city with high demand for data center services. Telehouse’s new facility in Marseille will help serve customers who want to combine the dense connectivity of its Paris TH2 campus with the many benefits Marseille offers.
