Takayo Takamuro, the deputy managing director at Telehouse, said: “This is a crucial step in our ongoing European growth strategy and adds value to our customers collocating in the UK and around the world." Takamuro added: "The expansion in Paris is an important piece in the global connectivity puzzle, enhancing the services we offer from our other locations and providing long-term benefits, including low latency global connections, greater bandwidth, and less jitter.”
The facility, set to open in October 2023, is part of a €1 billion ($988m) five-year investment plan. The company has said that €50 million ($49.4m) of this has been allocated to opening the new Paris facility.
