TPG Telecom is selling part of its Sydney, Australia, data center and office space. Interest submissions can be submitted to Colliers for 30 Ross Street in the Forest Lodge neighborhood until October 3. The building is an "infrastructure-quality asset" with a working data center and extra office space.
The site's 39,340 square feet are shared with a tenant with ties to TPG Telecom. The possibility for 500 students to be housed in the building is contingent upon its use for 9B education. The 67,170 square-foot structure has solar panels installed on its roof. Not much was said about the data center.
The site is reportedly leased to TPG for 15 years, with a further 10-year option, as reported by the Sydney Morning Herald. Colliers report that the seller has had a "high volume of unsolicited interest from investors and residential developers on this specific asset" in recent years. An asking price of $28.7m has been set for the facility.
