ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) has finished the construction work on its data center facility in Jakarta. This is the company's first facility in Indonesia. The company first announced plans for the STT Jakarta 1 facility in May 2021. The data center is located in Bekasi Regency and has a gross floor area of 193,750 square feet (18,000 square meters). It is also TIA-942 Rated-3. STT GDC, Triputa Group, and Temasek are developing the facility under a joint venture. The data center campus will have multiple buildings on the site while supporting up to 72MW capacity upon full build-out. The first building- Jakarta 1, will have a capacity of up to 19.5MW when it comes online in Q2 2023.
