Stream Data Centers makes moves in Texas

Stream Data Centers has announced that it is planning a new facility in Wilmer in Dallas County, Texas, near Interstate 45. That said, the company is yet to make an official announcement and news of the new development comes from planning filings picked up by Dallas News. 

As per the report published by Dallas News, the first phase of the project will see the development of 135,000 square-foot (12,540 sqm) of space, and will commence this summer and with an investment of $50 million. 

Already the company has a facility in the area - a 23-acre data center, which, when fully built out, will reach 43MW and 275,000 sq ft (25,550 sqm).

Stream Data Centers has 36 sites in 11 regions.
