Servpac: Servpac's expansion of MTP Data Center

Servpac Inc., a local telecommunications corporation, has begun expanding its data center in Mililani Technology Park. The company announced on June 27 that the expansion would double the MTP Data Center's colocation capacity. According to the announcement, InForm Design is the project architect, and InSynergy Engineering will provide engineering consulting. Servpac declined to disclose the project's precise cost but noted that it represents a multimillion-dollar investment. Construction is anticipated to be completed by mid-October, and Servpac has stated that operations and customer access will not be affected.

The 30,000-square-foot data center was inaugurated by Servpac in 2020 and houses servers and other computing hardware for business clients. As stated by Servpac president Richard Zheng in a previous interview, the facility has independent backups of all its machinery. In the announcement, Servpac officials also stated that the company has already begun designing a distinct expansion on the same property that will provide "an estimated tenfold increase in cabinet and power capacity."
