Northern Virginia: Prologis looking to develop data center in Northern Virginia

Reports have it that Prologis has filed for permission to convert an industrial site in Sterling, Northern Virginia, into a data center. The company aims to develop a 500,000 square feet data center on its existing 19.5-acre industrial site. The development project is referred to as Prologis NOVA 1. Prologis is working with a subsidiary called DCT Dules Phase 1 LLC for the development of the facility. Reports also have it that Prologis is working with Skybox Datacenters to develop the data center.

This is not the first time Skybox and Prologis will be partnering on a project. They partnered to turn a vacant warehouse in Illinois into a data center earlier in the year.
