: OneWeb partners with Rock Networks to serve Canadian Armed Forces

OneWeb has announced an essential distribution partnership in Canada with Rock Networks. With this deal, OneWeb will use its Low Earth Orbit in conjunction with Rock Network’s state-of-the-art devices to bring reliable and robust connectivity to Canada’s national defense and security protocols. Moreover, this deal will also see low latency satellite broadband services available to those operating across Canada and the high arctic.

Dylan Browne, Head of Government Services at OneWeb, commented that the Company’s polar satellite services would make vital connectivity available for Canada’s national defense and security. He also added it would serve as a safe bridge home for diplomatic missions and defense missions abroad.
