ODATA Chile ST01: Odata To Build a $217 Million Data Center In Chile

Odata has announced that it is planning to build its first data center in Chile. This new data center will sit on a 6-hectare site, and it will house over 40,000 square meters of data center buildings. Upon completion, the data center will have a capacity of 28MW. Odata also says it will be investing up to $217 million in this project.

The CEO of the Company, Ricardo Alario, commented that it is only logical to invest in Chile due to its expansion process in Latin America. He added that the massive demand for digital infrastructure on the continent is the reason for the development. He also noted that the company would help in sustaining the continent’s digital growth through an efficient and sustainable operation.
