Newmark Real Estate Company launches a data center practice financial division

Newmark Division, Inc., a US real estate advisory and services firm, has launched a data center practice division to provide financial data center consulting. This week, the company announced the expansion of its Capital Markets services by introducing the Data Center and Digital Infrastructure practice group and the appointment of Brent Mayo as its executive managing director.

Capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, property acquisition/disposition/recapitalization, and debt & equity financing are some areas where the unit will assist investors, operators, and businesses in the sector.

Mayo, headquartered in New York City, will collaborate with Newmark's Capital Markets advisors on the creation of capital, financing, and asset and portfolio sales, as well as with the firm's Data Center Consulting Group advisors, market leaders in data center strategies, valuation, advisory, management, evaluation, and performance.

Mayo joins Newmark from DH Capital, a Citizens division specializing in data centers and digital infrastructure exclusively.
