NetActuate: NetActuate announces expansion in Africa

NetActuate has announced that it has launched a new data center location in Accra, Ghana, the company's second in the continent. The facility reportedly houses five submarine cable connections, equipment for all the major carriers and ISPs, and direct connectivity to GIX (Ghana Internet Exchange).
The facility will be managed by PAIX Data Centres, spanning 68 square meters and offering 315kVA of site power.
Mark Mahle, CEO of NetActuate, said that the launch of network and infrastructure services in Accra, Ghana is a strategic move for the company as part of its global growth strategy. Adding: "This new data center offers an ideal environment for deploying critical workloads at the edge in rapidly-growing global markets."
