: NASA awards $2.5 billion IT & communications contract to Leidos Inc

NASA confirms that they have awarded a new agency-wide information technology and communications services contract for Advanced Enterprise Global Information Technology Solutions contract worth $2.5 billion to Leidos Inc. The contract will run for ten years, and it will see Leidos provide cloud, telecommunications, and data center services to all NASA facilities and centers.

NASA says that the contract will provide assets and services essential to their success to remain leaders in scientific research, space tech development, aeronautics, and space exploration. Aside from that, the contract will also provide a smooth communication infrastructure involving both LAN and WAN while supporting telephony, cybersecurity, cabling, emergency systems, and radio systems.
