Microsoft pays $3m to add 1.4 acres to its Atlanta campus

Tech giants Microsoft has bought 1.4 acres of land for $3 million to expand its planned Westside campus. The land is situated on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, in the Grove Park area close to Atlanta. This purchase is after Microsoft acquired 90 acres of land in February for its proposed Westside campus.

The purchase is said to be because Microsoft wants better access to the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. Microsoft also didn’t want another developer to purchase the land and build a project that doesn’t conform to its goal of revitalizing Grove Park. In general, this is a strategic purchase from Microsoft.

Microsoft East Point is located at 4165 Ben Hill Rd, Atlanta, GA 30349.
