Microsoft has acquired 21.25 acres of underdeveloped land in San Jose for $78.7 million. The expanse of land is situated near the corner of Orchard Parkway and Component Drive. Microsoft purchased the land from LBA Realty which initially wanted to use the land to build villages of offices, hotel rooms, and retail uses. On the other hand, Microsoft didn’t confirm what it intends to use the land for, but there are reports that the land would be used to build a data center.

Microsoft: Alviso Way Campus is located at 1657 Alviso Milpitas Rd, San Jose, CA 95134, USA.
