Equinix: Mercury delivers Equinix's FR13 data center in Germany

Mercury delivers Equinix's FR13 data center in Frankfurt, Germany. Located within Equinix’s Frankfurt North-East campus, the facility spans 5,295 sqm (57,000 sq ft) with a total capacity of 7.75MW across two data halls on three floors.

“The expansion of our North-East campus with FR13 is key to strengthening the digitalization of the Frankfurt and German economy and providing reliable and secure data ecosystems that companies rely on to thrive in the digital landscape. This new data center also serves as a testament to our dedication to environmental innovation. FR13 is the first new data center to be opened with an optimized operating temperature, resulting in an improved PUE and lower energy consumption,” said Jens-Peter Feidner, managing director for Germany at Equinix.
