MainOne MDX-i: MainOne to expand its data center footprint in West Africa

MainOne, a Nigerian Telco, has announced its plans to expand its data centers across West Africa. The Company plans to double its storage capacity over the next two years. The data center capacity will increase from 700 racks to 900 racks next year. It also plans to expand its racks by 300 if there is adequate demand.
The Company is building a 130-rack facility in Lagos, which it will complete before the end of the year. It is also planning to develop a 50-rack center in Cote d’Ivoire in 2022, and it will increase its 104-rack facility in Ghana to 400 racks by 2023. Plans are also in place for MaineOne to expand to other countries across Africa.
