Linxdatacenter: Linxdatacenter to Develop a 50MW Data Center in Moscow

Linxdatacenter has announced its plans to develop a new data center in Moscow, Russia. The company revealed that it bought a 280,000 square feet (26,000 square meters) site at Serebrvakova 8 in Moscow. The Russian firm noted that the data center would have a capacity of 50MW and accommodate up to 4,000 racks upon full build-out. Linxdatacenter revealed that up to $200 million would be invested in the project. Besides, the data center is expected to be in operation in 2024.
The general director of Linxdatacenter, Olga Sokolova, said the location for the data center is perfect as it fits many of the company’s requirements. He added that the site would allow for future expansions while ensuring superior network connectivity. The company was established in 2003, and it is one of the first commercial data center firms in the country. It currently operates two facilities in Russia, one in St. Petersburg and the other in Moscow. Both data centers have a combined space of 13,400 Square meters.
