Lincoln Rackhouse and Principal Real Estate Investors Acquire 7MW Data Center in Atlanta

Principal Real Estate Investors and Lincoln Rack have acquired a data center in Atlanta. The data center spans 185,000 square feet (17,200 square meters). It also sits on 38 acres of land. The facility has a capacity of 7MW. It can also be expanded to 13MW upon full build out. According to the acquirers, the land can also accommodate a separate 30MW data center.

The Vice President of Lincoln Rackhouse, Martin Peck, said the company is happy to work together with Principal Estate Investors to acquire the facility. According to him, the companies plan is to start developing additional turn-key critical floor space at the facility to help address customers’ current and future expansion needs. Ben Wobschall, Principal Real Estate Investors’ MD of portfolio management also added that the acquisition of the facility helps add an amazing asset to its data center portfolio.

Lincoln Property Company has 10 sites in 7 regions.
