AI and high performance computing Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider Hypertec Cloud has selected new-comer Potentia for US data center deployments. Hypertec Cloud will access more than 480MW of power through Potentia data centers in the US.
"This partnership enables us to provide our clients with a staggering combined data center capacity of more than 600MW in 2025 at unparalleled deployment times while delivering superior cluster performance, reliability, and environmental responsibility," said Jonathan Ahdoot, president of Hypertec Cloud. "Together with Potentia, we're setting new standards for AI Cloud efficiency and scalability."
"Our data centers are built to meet the rigorous demands of AI technology, and this collaboration will enable Hypertec Cloud to support the next generation of AI applications with resilience and efficiency," said Rich McCrea, CEO of Potentia.
According to Potentia's website, the company will have campuses spanning a total of more than 700 acres and 7GW of contract power by 2029. The website adds that in 2025, Potentia will have a data center campus in Indiana offering 150MW. Whether this is currently operational is unclear. DCD has contacted Potentia for more information. Planned markets include New York, Oklahoma, Ohio, Texas, Ontario, and Virginia.
