Global Data Centre Capex limbed to $241bn in 2022

According to recent research from Dell'Oro Group, global data center capital expenditures increased by 15% in 2022 to $241 billion. In 2023, however, Dell'Oro company predicts cloud and enterprise data center investment growth to slow to single digits. Another focus of the 4Q 2022 Data Center IT Capex Quarterly Results is that in 2022, the top 10 cloud service providers accounted for 48% of the worldwide data center capex. In terms of revenue, Dell, HPE, and Inspur were identified by Dell'Oro Group as the top three server providers for 2022. In addition, the market research organization concludes that forthcoming server architecture modifications and the accelerating growth of computing will contribute to long-term data center spending.
