Edged Tops out Data Center in Iowa

Data center firm Edged this week said it had topped out its facility in Ankeny, just north of Des Moines, marking the completion of the building’s structural frame. The facility will offer 13MW of capacity across 105,000 sq ft (9,755 sqm) and utilize a waterless cooling system from sister company ThermalWorks. 

“Today marks a major milestone in bringing advanced, sustainable infrastructure to Ankeny. This facility will deliver the secure, high-performance environment our customers need to power the next generation of heavy compute,” said Mitch Fonseca, chief operating officer of Edged. 

“I also want to thank the crew for their dedication to safety, completing the structural phase on time and injury-free reflects the excellence we strive for on every build.”
