Echelon breaks ground on LCY20 facility

Echelon Data Centres has confirmed that it is developing its second facility in the UK. The LCY20 facility will be located in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, UK. Echelon has broken ground on the facility, and it plans to complete it by Q2 of 2022. LCY20 will have 20MW of capacity. It will also have two floors and 6 data halls. 

The facility will have an N+1 redundancy on generators, N+2 cooling system unit redundancy, and N+1 redundancy on UPS. Echelon did not reveal any more information about the facility, but we’ll make more updates to this post as time goes on.



Echelon Data Centres has 21 sites.
