DXN has announced that it has entered a partnership with the Australian Government’s Department of Finance and Multiplex to supply a modular data center and ten communications rooms for a new Covid-19 quarantine center being built in Perth, Western Australia. The company has agreed to this work for the sum of AU$3.5 million (US$2.5m), and the project is being done on behalf of the Centre for National Resilience Perth.
The company is expected to deliver the modules by the end of March 2022 and will reportedly utilize local manufacturing in Western Australia.
Commenting on the project, DXN CEO Shalini Lagrutta, said: “We are very proud to support local manufacturing and local jobs for such an important Federal government project.”
