Diode Ventures and ENDEC have announced their partnership to build two data centers on the island of Luzon, the Philippines, in Tarlac province and New Clark City. Although details around the development are yet to be shared, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) secretary Cheloy Garafil said ENDEC expects to begin the project in the first quarter of 2024.
Further, ENDEC has outlined that it will work with a local renewable energy company to support 700 MW of data center operations, and will safeguard against impacting power grids by securing separate energy sources.
