This week, Digital Edge announced that it had broken ground on its new SEL2 data center in Incheon, South Korea. The facility was first announced back in April last year, and will see around one trillion won ($800m) invested in the project.

The company is working in partnership with SK ecoplant to develop the facility, which will feature two buildings on the 120MW campus. The first phase will come online in 2024 and will be operated by Digital Edge.
