DCI Indonesia JK5: DCI Indonesia launches new data center in Cibitung

DCI Indonesia has announced the launch of its JK5 data center building, located in Cibitung, West Java. This addition brings the company’s total to four, and with a capacity of 15MW, the new building takes its total capacity to 37MW. 

Indonesia’s digital economy is expected to reach a market value of  $130 billion in the next four years, and so the company plans to meet demand by building a further 15 data centers. In total, these centers are expected to provide a capacity of 300MW.  

It comes as no surprise then that currently, according to Structure Research, DCI Indonesia is now taking the lead in the country’s data center colocation market.

As a result, DCI plans to build up to 15 data center buildings with a total capacity of 300MW, equipped with internationally certified infrastructure to set a new standard for Indonesia's data center industry.
