To expand its data center footprint, DCI Data Centers has acquired land in Adelaide, Australia, for its new data center. The site is located in Technology Park, Mawson Lakes. It will be home to DCI’s ADL03 data center. DCI Data Centers announced that it had secured Development Approval for the data center. However, it didn’t reveal the specifications and timeline for the facility.

DCI CEO for Australia, Malcolm Roe, said South Australia has recorded success in attracting global defense, high-tech, space, and creative industries. He added that South Australia is home to the country’s defense-industrial complex, which makes the state a critical data center market that supports a booming digital infrastructure ecosystem.
