CtrlS Datacenters Ltd: CtrlS Datacenter launches new Hyderabad facility

CtrlS Datacenters has now launched its DC3 facility, located in the Gachibowli district of Telangana state, offers 13MW of IT load across 130,000 square feet. The company noted that it invested over Rs 500 crore ($60m) into the construction of this new facility , which has a capacity of approximately 1,300 racks over six stories.
Sridhar Pinnapureddy, founder and CEO at CtrlS, said: “Hyderabad is one of the major data center hubs in the country, with a growing demand from enterprises, and cloud service providers. The city is one of the most preferred locations for hosting disaster recovery services, owing to its seismic zone 2 status. Our new facility will further strengthen the city’s role in shaping India’s digital future.”
The company already has two data centers in Hyderabad - DC1 and DC2. The DC1 facility offers an IT capacity of 4MW across 1,152 racks, and DC2 7.4MW of IT capacity across 720 racks. Together, the facilities span more than 270,000 square feet.
