US Colo: CoreSite Realty buys colocation provider US Colo

CoreSite Realty Corp. completed its acquisition of Los Angeles-based colocation provider U.S. Colo LLC for roughly $8.6 million, ending ongoing litigation between the parties.

In its first-quarter earnings release, the data center real estate investment trust said the deal provides CoreSite with more than 120 new customers and expands its Los Angeles footprint with two colocation suites in the company's One Wilshire data center, or LA1, and a colocation space in 800 South Hope St., with a combined area of about 30,000 net rentable square feet.
