CoreSite: CoreSite Absorbs Three American Tower's Data Centers

CoreSite has integrated three data centers from American Tower into its data center portfolio. The data centers are located in Florida and Georgia. The three data centers are Orlando OR1, located at 9701 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, Atlanta AT1, located at 55 Marietta Street NW, Atlanta), and Atlanta AT2, located at 1130 Powers Ferry Place, Marietta. The three facilities have over 23,200 square meters (250,000 square feet) of space.

The President of CoreSite, Juan Font, said the facilities have a fantastic record of operational excellence in the Orlando and Atlanta data center market. He added that the facilities are now an integral part of the CoreSite data center ecosystem. American Tower is a REIT that focuses on owning cell towers. The company acquired CoreSite for $10.1 billion. CoreSite operates 25 data centers across the US. Before American Tower acquired CoreSite, it entered the data center business by acquiring Colo Atl in 2019. It also operates some Edge colocation facilities in Florida, Austin, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Boulder, Denver, and Pittsburgh.
