ColoHouse has announced that it has opened a third data hall at its Miami, Florida data center. The new hall will provide more than 500kW of power at the facility. It will also add 550 square meters (6,000 square feet) of space to the location. The new hall is called MIA3, while the two previous halls are called MIA1 and MIA2. MIA1 and MIA2 have a combined space of 24,000 square feet. The facility is located on the fourth floor of 36 NE 2nd Street.
The interim CEO of ColoHouse, Kevin Reed, said its Miami facility is located in one of the largest connection hubs which link the US and Latin America markets. He added that the expansion of the location presents an amazing opportunity for its customers to expand their footprint globally. ColoHouse has been in the news a lot recently. In June last year, the company was acquired by Valterra Partners LLC and 1547 CSR. Since then, the company has also acquired colocation firm Steadfast, Lume Cloud, and Quonix Group.
