YCO Cloud Centers has revealed that it is developing a 12MW data center in Batangas, the Philippines. The company is building this facility in the Light Industry and Science Park IV in Batangas. The data center called YCO Manila Digital will be housed in a two-story building. It will also span 10,000 square meters of space while also having four 3MW data halls. YCO plans to begin work on the facility later in June. The first data hall is also scheduled to come online in Mid-Q2 2023.

YCO Cloud Centers is a joint venture between US-based Cloud Centers and local Filipino group JJYnchausti. The CEO of YCO Cloud Centers, Nik de Ynchausti, said the Philippines would continue to be a top, dynamic technology and digital hub in the Asia Pacific Region. He noted that the country is also underserved in world-class digital infrastructure and data centers. Ynchausti further commented that the partnership with Cloud Centers would help deliver state-of-the-art data centers in the Philippines.
