China Telecom: Jinchang: China Telecom inaugurates data center in Jinchang, China

China Telecom has just opened its new data center in Jinchang, in China’s Northeastern Gansu province. The Company invested $10.8 million for this data center. The data center would be supporting 203 racks, 34,000 core VCPU, and 260 servers at the moment. It can also be expanded in the future according to specific needs.
China Telecom developed this data center called the Tianyi Cloud Big Data Center in conjunction with Zijin Cloud Data Center. It is also reported that the data center would help accelerate plans to turn Jinchang into a digital hub.
